Replacing Cast Iron

Older homes in the valley were built with cast iron in their plumbing for decades. It was the old gold standard which is why you find it in a lot of older homes. But as time passed we found that cast iron contained lead, deteriorated and started rust over time, caused expensive and invasive repairs and some insurance companies would not cover the repairs. That made replacing cast iron in homes plumbing systems a better option.
